Follow these steps to keep your extensions looking and feeling their best.

Wash every 2 weeks with a clarifying shampoo

Always detangle your extensions before washing using a wide-tooth comb or wig brush. Co-washing (conditioner only) before installing is fine, but just like your natural hair, extensions will build up oils and dirt over time. Shampooing ensures your extensions stay clean and residue-free.

Deep condition

Deep conditioning is essential. It aids in detangling, defines curl patterns, and restores moisture lost during shampooing. Deep condition for 15 minutes, then rinse with cool water.

Dry your hair properly

Before installing, air dry your bundles or use a blow dryer on a low setting to maintain the hair's natural texture.

Minimize heat & product use

Only apply heat when necessary — especially for leave-out installs. Always use a heat protectant beforehand. Avoid heavy oils and overusing products, as buildup will weigh down your extensions, leaving them looking greasy and dull.

Nighttime maintenance

Protect your hair at night with a satin bonnet or scarf. We also recommend sleeping on a satin pillowcase to help lock in moisture and reduce friction overnight.
